About

This is the online presence of Dublin based illustrator and artist Brendan Boyle.

His main work is largely focused on the human form where he creates stylised compositions that lean towards the surreal. Whether utilising tradtional or digital media (or a combination of both) he approaches his work with meticulous detail, looking to capture an emotion or fleeting moment in time.

His ever growing list of influences ranges anywhere from nature to pop culture, the Renaissance to Post Modernism.

Primarily working as a commercial artist, he has also been building a solid reputation as an emerging fine artist, with successful solo exhbitions throughout Ireland and acceptance into prestigious institutions like the Royal Ulster Academy and The Glebe Gallery.
